The Cigar Shop at The Ritz offers the perfect setting to sample a cigar indoors or outdoors, chosen from our prestigious selection. The lounge pays tribute to some of the hotel\u2019s iconic guests, past and present, including Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and actors Charlie Chaplin and Sir Roger Moore, who all shared a passion for the finest cigars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

While visiting The Cigar Shop at The Ritz, you can purchase and taste a wide range of limited-edition and premium cigars, including Ritz London Cigars\u2019 range of twelve sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cigar Shop\u2019s plush leather seating, quintessentially British furnishings, and outdoor space create a comfortable and welcoming environment for enjoying exceptional cigars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team are on hand to curate the ultimate tasting experience for you. They will guide you through our hand-crafted walk-in humidor, where you can explore our wide range. A selection of cigar accessories, including cutters, lighters, ashtrays, and humidors, and a collection of some of the finest blends of Scotch whisky, cognac, and rum are also available for purchase. We work diligently to source the latest and best regional, limited editions and vintage cigars on the market for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cigar Shop also offers private lockers within the humidor, which guests can reserve exclusively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE RITZ LONDON CIGAR RANGE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ritz London Cigars effortlessly embody the values for which The Ritz London is renowned. The lines offer medium- and medium-bodied legacy cigars that are well-balanced and steeped in the character, tradition, and intensity shared by The Ritz and the third-generation Cuban artisans who work diligently to make the finished product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All our cigars are hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic, using only the finest tobacco from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and Mexico. Tobacco scoured from the Dominican Republic is grown by one of the finest in the country, Jose Matias Maragoto, a third-generation Cuban tobacco grower whose passion and dedication to the crop are evident in the smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sourcing tobacco from different origins allows our Master Blender, Maurice Koks, to create complex blends for the most elegant smoke. Maurice has over 25 years of experience producing cigars and is inspired by his passion for music as he compares making a cigar to creating music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUR PROCESS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each cigar consists of a wrapper, binder and filler; wrappers and binders must be moist during production to remove the vein from the leaf. The tobacco is then handed to the rollers to craft the cigars. The fillers, however, must remain dry so that the correct amount of tobacco is rolled in each cigar. The production team ensures that unused tobacco is sent off to other ateliers and used rather than disposed of, making our process sustainable; it is important to us that as much of the leaf is used, and the only part of the leaf that is disposed of is the vein that is removed from the wrapper and binder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
